The tradition of rowing is an essential part of the identity of those who live and have lived in the vicinity of the bay. The port has found a way to provide access to the water, facilities and equipment the clubs need for their activities, making it compatible with other port uses.
Recreational boats also have their space through three sets of quays managed by their respective clubs and the associated facilities.

Pasaia considers its membership of associations and clusters in the sector as essential, both to complement and exploit its own strengths given its natural characteristics and to share and discuss its experiences, therefore helping to boost growth in the industry, transport and the surrounding area.
